Plum Community Guidelines
- Effective Date: September 16, 2026
- Last Updated: September 16, 2026
1. Scope and General Principles
Plum is an AI-powered interactive entertainment service operated by Within Tech Limited ("Within Tech," "we," "us," or "our") and intended only for adults. These Community Guidelines explain the content and conduct that are permitted and prohibited on Plum and form part of the Plum Terms of Service.
These Guidelines apply to character names, images, descriptions, settings, tags, opening content, and comments, as well as user inputs, AI outputs, chats, memories, and other content or conduct created, submitted, generated, published, or shared through Plum.
Public content and private interactions must both comply with the safety boundaries in these Guidelines. Because public content may be displayed, searched, recommended, and shared more broadly, we may apply stricter publication and display standards to public content.
Content is not exempt from these Guidelines merely because it is fictional, literary, role-play, or part of a particular story setting. We consider the purpose, level of detail, audience, real-world actionability, and overall context of content. News, historical, educational, research, artistic, or fictional contexts may be relevant, but they cannot be used to evade the safety boundaries in these Guidelines. Content will not be treated as a violation merely because it is controversial or contains dark themes.
2. Adults and Adult Characters Only
You must be at least 18 years old to use Plum. Any interactive character you create or publish must be clearly established as an adult.
You may not misrepresent your age, help a minor use Plum, or use another account or method to evade our age restrictions. If we reasonably believe that a user does not meet our age requirements, we may apply age-assurance, account restriction, or termination measures in accordance with the Plum Terms of Service and Plum Privacy Policy.
3. Zero Tolerance for Sexual Content Involving Minors
We prohibit any sexualization, sexual exploitation, or sexual abuse involving a real or fictional minor, or a person of unclear age in a sexual context. Prohibited conduct includes:
- creating, requesting, distributing, or helping others obtain child sexual abuse material;
- sexualizing or sexually evaluating a minor's nudity, body, relationships, or conduct;
- depicting a minor participating in sexual activity, commercial sexual activity, or another adult sexual context;
- grooming a minor, sexually extorting a minor, requesting intimate material from a minor, or arranging offline contact with a minor;
- attempting to evade this rule by changing an age label, presenting an originally minor character as an adult, or using another workaround; and
- praising, justifying, instructing, or assisting sexual harm against a minor.
Minors may be referenced neutrally in family, educational, news, protective, or general narrative contexts, but they may not be the subject of sexualized, intimate, or adult-themed interactions.
4. Adult Romance and Mature Themes
Plum supports a wide range of stories and interactions involving adult fictional characters, including romance and more mature emotional themes.
Such content must still comply with these Guidelines and may not include pornography, sexually explicit content, sexual exploitation, non-consensual conduct, or other prohibited content. We consider the purpose, context, level of detail, and overall presentation of the content.
5. Pornographic and Sexually Explicit Content
Plum does not allow pornographic or sexually explicit content.
We consider the explicitness, focus, context, and overall presentation of content. Adult romance, attraction, mature relationship themes, or implied intimacy will not be treated as pornographic or sexually explicit merely because they involve sexual tension.
Content does not become compliant merely because it is described as fictional, private, between adults, or role-play. Medical, health, educational, news, research, or artistic content may be considered in context.
6. Sexual Violence, Non-Consensual Conduct, and Sexual Exploitation
Plum strictly prohibits the sexualized depiction, glorification, encouragement, instruction, or interactive simulation of sexual violence, non-consensual sexual conduct, or sexual exploitation. Purported consent obtained through violence, threats, coercion, deception, the effects of drugs, loss of consciousness, or abuse of power is not valid consent.
We also prohibit sexual extortion, compelled creation of pornographic content, and the non-consensual creation, distribution, or threatened distribution of intimate images or sexual content. Sexual content involving real animals is also prohibited. A fictional or role-play context does not create an exception to this section.
Non-graphic discussion in news, educational, prevention, or victim-support contexts may be considered in context, but it must not glorify harm or provide assistance in carrying it out.
7. Commercial Sexual Services, Sexual Transactions, and Human Trafficking
You may not use Plum to engage in, assist, or facilitate any real-world commercial sexual service or related transaction, including promoting, soliciting, buying, selling, arranging, redirecting users to, or brokering such services. Cash, Crystal, or any other benefit may not be exchanged for real-world sexual activity.
We prohibit all forms of human trafficking and any recruitment, control, deception, coercion, or assistance for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
Discussion in news, educational, prevention, reporting, or victim-support contexts may be allowed, but it must not facilitate a transaction, exploitation, or evasion of an investigation.
8. Violence, Graphic Content, and Credible Threats
Fictional stories may include general conflict, combat, adventure, or dark themes that are not excessively graphic and do not encourage real-world harm.
Plum prohibits threatening, encouraging, glorifying, organizing, or assisting real-world violence, including credible threats against real people, groups, or locations, and specific methods or assistance that could be used to cause serious harm. Content focused on extreme gore, dismemberment, exposed organs, or torture is prohibited.
Where content identifies a specific target, method, or real-world preparation, Plum may immediately restrict and escalate it as a credible threat. Non-graphic discussion in news, historical, educational, prevention, or victim-support contexts may be considered in context.
9. Self-Harm, Suicide, Eating Disorders, and Dangerous Conduct
Plum permits discussion of self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, substance misuse, and other dangerous conduct in prevention, recovery, support, news, educational, or artistic narrative contexts.
You may not encourage, glorify, pressure, or challenge another person to engage in such conduct, or provide specific methods that could materially assist, optimize, or conceal harm. Character interactions may not reinforce a user's real-world intent to cause harm or discourage a user from seeking real-world help.
Where content indicates a real and imminent risk of harm, Plum may restrict the relevant interaction and provide supportive safety information, including suggesting that the user contact local emergency services, a qualified professional, or a trusted person in the real world. Plum is not an emergency service.
10. Terrorism and Violent Extremism
Plum prohibits praising, promoting, recruiting for, financing, or assisting terrorism, violent extremism, or related organizations. You may not provide specific assistance to carry out an attack, organize violent activity, or evade an investigation.
News, historical, educational, research, critical, literary, and counter-extremism content may be considered in context, but it must not be used to distribute propaganda, recruit supporters, or provide practical assistance.
11. Hate Speech and Discrimination
Plum prohibits dehumanizing, degrading, discriminating against, or excluding people or groups, or inciting hatred, discrimination, or violence against them, based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, health status, or another characteristic protected by applicable law.
Reasonable criticism of ideas, religious doctrines, political positions, policies, institutions, or public conduct is not automatically a violation, but it may not be used as a pretext to attack a protected group.
12. Harassment, Bullying, and Stalking
Plum prohibits persistent or severe insults, humiliation, intimidation, threats, sexual harassment, extortion, stalking, malicious contact, or coordinated harassment directed at a real person or user. You may not use AI impersonation or another person's private information to engage in such conduct.
Reasonable criticism, disagreement, ordinary fictional conflict, and jokes that do not amount to targeted harm are not automatically violations.
13. Privacy, Personal Information, and Account Credentials
Plum prohibits the unauthorized collection, solicitation, sale, or disclosure of another person's non-public personal information, sensitive information, or account credentials, including contact details, precise location, identity or financial information, medical information, passwords, and verification codes that could create a risk of impersonation, financial loss, or personal harm.
Do not publish your own sensitive information in public areas. Plum may limit the display of such information to protect user safety.
14. Real Persons, Impersonation, and Synthetic Content
Plum prohibits deceptively impersonating a real person, organization, or Plum, or falsely claiming their participation, endorsement, authorization, or relationship. You may not use another person's identity, likeness, voice, or synthetic representation without authorization to commit fraud, sexualize that person, harass them, damage their reputation, or otherwise infringe their rights. You may not create harmful synthetic content that could cause users to believe a real person participated in or expressed it.
News, commentary, parody, satire, fan works, or transformative works that are lawful and presented in a clearly fictional context may be considered in context, but they must still respect the relevant person's privacy, likeness, reputation, and other legal rights.
15. Intellectual Property
You may submit only content that you have the right to use and authorize Plum to process. Plagiarism, misappropriation, and unauthorized use of material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, rights of publicity, or other rights are prohibited.
Labels such as "fan work," "adaptation," or "AI-generated" do not automatically excuse infringement. Rights holders and affected users may contact us through the channels provided in the Plum Terms of Service.
16. Fraud, Criminal Assistance, Illegal Transactions, and Regulated Goods
Plum prohibits scams, phishing, account theft, identity theft, money laundering, payment fraud, forged documents, illegal transactions, and transactions involving regulated goods. You may not use Plum to direct users to such activities.
You may not provide methods that materially assist in committing a crime, evading law enforcement, or bypassing safety controls. Security, news, research, educational, and crime-prevention content may be considered in context, but it must not provide directly actionable criminal assistance.
17. Malicious Code, Unauthorized Access, and System Attacks
Plum prohibits distributing malicious code or accessing, scanning, attacking, interfering with, or damaging Plum's, a service provider's, or another user's systems, accounts, or data without authorization. You may not exploit vulnerabilities, bypass permissions, or interfere with platform security, moderation, or payment systems.
Good-faith security research should be reported through Plum's published contact channels. Unresolved vulnerabilities may not be exploited or publicly disclosed.
18. Spam, Manipulation, and Platform Abuse
Plum prohibits spam, bulk account registration or posting, malicious links, unsolicited promotion, and unauthorized use of automated tools to manipulate search, recommendations, favorites, ratings, rankings, or other platform mechanisms.
You may not use related accounts, fake purchases, refund abuse, self-referrals, or other methods to manipulate Crystal, tasks, promotions, or creator rewards. You may not evade moderation or enforcement, sell accounts or Crystal, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of Plum or other users' use of the Service.
19. Moderation
Plum may use automated systems and human review to moderate content and related conduct. Moderation may occur before or after publication and may consider the content itself, its context, character settings, images, and related patterns of behavior.
We do not guarantee that we will identify or prevent every violation, or that content that has been published will remain compliant with these Guidelines indefinitely.
20. Enforcement
Plum may, in its discretion, block generation or publication, limit visibility, stop recommending content, remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve necessary records, or make reports where required by law or where there is a significant real-world risk. We are not required to take a less severe measure first.
We will freeze or revoke Crystal or rewards only where the relevant Crystal or rewards involve fraud, improper acquisition, or reward abuse. We may take immediate action where there is a significant safety risk.
21. Reporting Content or Conduct
If you become aware of content or conduct that may violate these Guidelines, you may contact us at support@plum.top. You do not need to be logged in or have a Plum account to submit a report.
Please provide, where possible, the relevant character, content, account, or conversation identifier, an accessible link, necessary screenshots, and a brief explanation. Do not send complete private chats, passwords, payment credentials, government identification documents, or other sensitive information that is unrelated to the report.
If there is an imminent risk to a person's safety, also contact local emergency services.
22. Questions About Enforcement
If you have questions about an action taken against content, a feature, or an account, you may contact support@plum.top and provide the relevant identifier and necessary explanation.
Plum may decide to uphold, modify, or reverse its original decision. Contacting us does not automatically stay the action, and we do not guarantee a new review, independent review, or different outcome. Any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law remain unaffected.
23. Updates and Contact Information
Plum may update these Guidelines based on product features, risk conditions, and applicable law. We will identify the date of an update and provide notice of material changes through the Service, by email, or through another reasonable method. Emergency safety or legal updates may take effect immediately.
